EZ Baccarat Rules

One of the issues with traditional games is that the Baccarat rules are somewhat too intricate and slightly too boring for the liking of many players. The banker bet, in particular, is problematic since it pays 0.95:1 with a 5% fee, and this is one of the primary causes of intricacy in an otherwise straightforward game. This resulted in the creation of EZ Baccarat, a variant of the game with slightly altered rules and a number of amusing side bets that add simplicity and pleasure to the experience.

The New Banker Bet

In EZ Baccarat, the traditional banker bet has been replaced by a new version. The new banker bet pays 1:1 rather than the uncomfortable, commission-based 0.95:1. As compensation for the loss of the fee, three-card totals of seven for the banker bet result in a push if the banker wins. This is a little concession, and it isn't such a huge problem when you consider that the house advantage on this version of the game with an eight-deck shoe is just 1.02 %. In comparison, regular Baccarat games have a house edge of 1.06 %.

The Introduction Of Side Bets

Action is one of the problems that Baccarat has run into since it has been played for smaller stakes since the widespread introduction of online casino games. The idea here is that there's not usually much fluctuation for a player over a single session except in rare instances of a big upswing or downswing, and this can lead to fairly boring play when the social factor of the game atmosphere has been removed. Along these lines, two new side bets have been introduced to EZ Baccarat to make things more interesting and to give players more options.

The Dragon 7 Bet

The Dragon 7 is one of the new wagers available in this game. It has something to do with the alterations made to the banker bet. You'll win on this bet if the banker bet wins on a total of seven using three cards. This side bet pays a good 40:1 and has a 7.6 percent house advantage. This is better than the tie and pair bets, but not as excellent as the banker or player bets.

The Panda 8 Bet

The Panda 8 is a very comparable side bet. It's worth noting that the number eight is considered lucky in many Asian cultures, which might explain why they picked this number for the additional bet because the Dragon 7 already has the lucky number seven covered. If the dealer wins with a total of eight with only three cards, you will receive a bonus prize. Because you have a larger probability of striking than with the Dragon 7, the payoff is significantly lower at 25:1. This results in a house advantage of 10.2 percent, which is comparable to the tie and pair bets.

Card Counting Options

Card counting is available in EZ Baccarat to some extent in order to determine when the Dragon 7 and Panda 8 bets have greater chances. While the mechanisms necessary to card count either of these bets is incredibly complex, they can be used to gain an edge in the game. It would take an enormous amount of practice and studying to get an advantage in these games, but it is feasible with a lot of effort.
